ARISTHA: Ar-Risalah Journal of Islamic Tourism and Hospitality is committed to maintaining the integrity, independence, transparency, and academic credibility of its publishing activities.
This Advertising Policy establishes the journal's position regarding commercial advertising, academic announcements, promotional materials, sponsorship-related communications, and the separation of promotional interests from scholarly editorial processes.
The policy applies to advertising and promotional content that may appear on the journal's official website, publication platform, or other communication channels administered on behalf of ARISTHA.
ARISTHA does not currently operate a commercial advertising program and does not accept paid commercial advertisements on its journal website.
The journal's primary purpose is to disseminate scholarly research and support academic communication rather than to provide commercial advertising services.
The journal may publish relevant academic and institutional announcements that support its scholarly mission, provided that such announcements are clearly distinguishable from peer-reviewed research content.
Any future introduction of commercial advertising would require a formal policy review and transparent disclosure of the applicable conditions.
Advertising, sponsorship, promotional relationships, and other commercial considerations must not influence editorial decisions.

Relevance to the journal's focus and scope.
Originality and scholarly contribution.
Methodological rigor.
Reliability of research findings.
Compliance with publication ethics.
Independent peer-review assessments.
No advertiser, sponsor, or promotional partner may obtain preferential editorial treatment or influence manuscript acceptance, rejection, reviewer selection, or publication ethics decisions.
ARISTHA may display non-commercial academic announcements that are relevant to its scholarly community.
Examples include:
Calls for papers issued by ARISTHA.
Announcements concerning journal publication schedules.

The publication of an academic announcement does not automatically imply endorsement of all activities or views associated with the event.
ARISTHA is committed to maintaining a clear distinction between peer-reviewed scholarly articles and non-research announcements.
Academic announcements must not be presented as peer-reviewed articles unless they have undergone the journal's applicable editorial and review procedures.
Promotional materials should not be designed or positioned in a manner that misleads readers about their purpose or status.
Any future sponsored content must be clearly identified and separated from editorially evaluated scholarly publications.

Manuscript acceptance or rejection.
Reviewer selection or reviewer recommendations.
Editorial assessments or publication priorities.
Research conclusions or interpretations.
Correction, expression of concern, or retraction decisions.
Publication ethics investigations.
The selection or suppression of legitimate scholarly content.
Financial contributions or promotional relationships must never be treated as substitutes for academic evaluation.

This includes promotional advertisements for tourism businesses, travel agencies, hotels, hospitality providers, certification services, commercial training providers, or other businesses.
The journal may publish independent scholarly research concerning such organizations or industries when the manuscripts satisfy its academic and ethical requirements.
Publication of research involving a commercial entity does not constitute an endorsement of that entity's products, services, or business practices.
As a journal focusing on Islamic tourism and hospitality, ARISTHA recognizes the importance of cultural, religious, and ethical sensitivity in its public communications.
Academic announcements displayed by the journal should respect relevant scholarly, cultural, and religious contexts.
The journal should not publish promotional materials that are knowingly misleading, discriminatory, fraudulent, or inconsistent with applicable legal and ethical requirements.
References to Islamic principles, halal certification, or religious authority must not be used to create misleading claims of official approval or endorsement.
Financial or institutional support for the journal must be governed by its Revenue Source Policy and applicable institutional procedures.
Sponsorship or financial assistance does not automatically create advertising rights.
Where any sponsorship relationship requires public acknowledgment, the acknowledgment should be factual, transparent, and clearly separated from editorial content.
Sponsors must not exercise inappropriate influence over scholarly evaluation or publication decisions.
Editors and other relevant journal personnel should disclose relationships that could create actual or perceived conflicts of interest involving promotional or commercial activities.
Individuals with significant conflicts should not participate in editorial decisions affected by those interests.
The journal should evaluate potential conflicts fairly and adopt appropriate safeguards to protect editorial independence.
The journal should make reasonable efforts to ensure that academic and institutional announcements published through its official channels are accurate and current at the time of posting.
Announcements should not contain fabricated institutional affiliations, misleading participation requirements, false accreditation claims, or unsupported promises.
Where an error is identified, the journal may correct, update, or remove the announcement as appropriate.
Academic announcements may contain links to external websites operated by universities, research organizations, conference organizers, or other relevant institutions.
ARISTHA does not control the availability, security, accuracy, or subsequent changes of external websites.
The inclusion of an external link does not necessarily constitute endorsement of the linked organization or its activities.
Readers should independently verify relevant information when necessary.
ARISTHA does not authorize the use of confidential manuscript information, reviewer identities, unpublished research data, or protected author information for commercial advertising purposes.
Personal information collected through journal operations must be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
